Cleaning with Sword Brush technology is sustainable

The high-quality linear brushes are the heart of the Sword Brushes and are extremely long-lasting even under the toughest production conditions. Like more than 80% of the machine components, they are produced by Wandres GmbH micro-cleaning in the southern Black Forest. The high degree of in-house production ensures the quality and long-lasting nature of the cleaning machines and at the same time ensures short transport routes, more flexibility and versatile jobs in the region.

Cleaning machines with Sword Brush technology are low-maintenance and energy-efficient. The relatively low operating costs are often accompanied by high savings, as cleaning ensures product quality and reduces the reject rate. Therefore, the purchase of a suitable cleaning system usually amortises after a short time.

Cleaning technology with Sword Brushes requires hardly any cleaning liquid and produces no waste water. The brush filaments are only micro-moistened in the "Ingromat® process" and and they are permanently regenerated in a self-cleaning unit. In addition, both the energy consumption and the maintenance effort of brush-based cleaning systems are low compared to conventional blank washers.

All together, this leads to a good life cycle assessment of the Sword Brushes and a comparatively small CO2 footprint. Brush cleaning also ensures a clean working environment with significantly fewer dust and aerosol particles in the ambient air, thus protecting the health of production workers.
